If I had five strings dangling from my fingers, what would be attached to the strings?
String one: a yo-yo to run up and down the string until finally it just stays at the bottom when it runs out of momentum.
String two: there’d be a bunch of little bells on this one, ringing sweetly and softly with any movement of the string.
String three: this one would have yellow and red aspen leaves
from fall dancing to the music of the bells and fluttering in the breeze.
String four: tiny crystal creations would hang from this one, catching light from every angle and reflecting back hundreds
of rainbows to fall upon anyone passing by and appearing to move with that soft ringing of bells.
String five: I’d have my sister, Julie, make me teeny-tiny peace cranes in all colors to fly about on this string, and tucked into them would be the names of all those I hold dear. They’d be held up by the hands that keep them in prayer all aloft on the winds and soaring in blessing.
