Went to an amazing concert last evening in Wray, Colorado- Ellis. She performed beautifully and her songs really touched me. This morning I can’t stop thinking about one particular song which challenges perspective. My favorite thought from that song, “What if the trees are holding up the sky?” I don’t know why, but I think about it as I’m looking out the window at the trees and I know how much we’ve had to water them this summer and it’s no wonder because they’re working so hard to keep the sky lifted. Today, the sky is weeping miserably…I guess it must hurt to have all those tree tops sticking into your belly. 🙂
